Voltline

About Voltline

Voltline exists to make everyday electrical-engineering calculations faster, clearer and more trustworthy — without spreadsheets, installs or guesswork.

Engineers spend a surprising amount of time re-deriving the same calculations, wrestling with spreadsheets, or paying for heavyweight software just to answer a single question. Voltline takes those recurring tasks and turns them into focused web tools that are accurate, well-documented, and free to use.

The first tool is an arc-flash calculator built on IEEE 1584-2018 and NFPA 70E. More tools for the electrical discipline are on the way.

What we stand for

Accuracy

Tools follow recognised standards and are validated against published worked examples.

Transparency

Methods and assumptions are shown, so you can trust — and check — every number.

Accessibility

Free, browser-based and privacy-friendly. No account, no data leaving your device.

Who is behind it

Voltline is built by Ali Iguider, an MV/LV systems engineer. The tools come straight out of real-world engineering work — designed to be the kind of utility the author wanted to reach for on the job.
